Bows and arrows.
There are three types of bows:
– Traditional bow
Traditional bow close to the most ancient bows, used for hunting and warfare. Traditional archery unites fans of simple bows without sights and fine-tune the device. Traditional bow, being primitive throwing device, places the highest demands in archer`s shot technique . This type of bow is the easiest on the material part and the most difficult for an operating time of archery skills.
Rycurve – a sports bow with body kit also has sight. Recurve is made using modern materials: anodized aluminum for the handle, plastic limbs, carbon or aluminum arrows and steel for points. All Recurves – a dismountable bows in contrast to traditional ones. In recurve added sight from one point (the second aim point is prohibited), the clicker to determine the end of the rod and button for arrows ejection control in the horizontal plane perpendicular to the shot. Despite all these changes, shooting from a traditional bow and recurve very similar, although recurve much more accurate. Also to recurve may have a stabilizer to reduce vibrations of the bow during the shot.
Compound – a modern bow structure which has no historical counterparts. It was created in the USA in the ends1980s. A key design characteristic – two block mechanisms at the ends of the limbs, which re-load the thrust so that in the end is very much weakeed. As a result, although the load of the bow can be more than 70 lb, the archer can stand still with bow tie, feeling no more than 7lb. Also, units implement more “right” arrow acceleration, when the load on it increases with increasing speed, which greatly reduces the starting strain and improves the efficiency of the onion. As a result, although the load of the bow can be more than 35 kg, the archer can stand still with bow tie, feeling no more than 3 kg. On the compound put scopes with two points of sight – one on the handle and the other on the string. Archer doesn`t hold string in his right hand, string hold`s by the bowstring release (or relaysingom) – a mechanism that is similar to the trigger in the crossbow. This allows to completely remove the negative effect of rolling up the string with hands in the recurve, and the arrow flies very stable. The modular system allows to reduce the length of the bow while maintaining the same power and arrow length. At equal stretch and arrow lengths starting arrow speed in compound bow is about twice higher than that of a conventional sports bow.
